My PhD topic focuses on the Spatial and Temporal Characterization of Mesoscale Winds in the Middle and Upper Atmosphere. In this context, my research interests center on the fundamental physics of atmospheric dynamics, with particular emphasis on mesoscale processes in the MLT, including wave propagation, turbulence, transport, mixing, and energy transfer across scales in geophysical flows. I am also interested in methodological approaches such as physics-informed machine learning and direct numerical simulations (DNS) for the study of complex atmospheric dynamics.
