Our research activities can also help to improve the capabilities of certain individuals or organizations. These activities are either motivated by us or they are requested. 

In recent years, IAP research activities have been expanded to other countries. A focus has been on countries where observing observing infrastructure are difficult to install, and therefore there have been significant observational gaps. To foster technological developments and infrastructure that allow such installations, we provide in presence (locally or at IAP) or virtual training of local partners (individual persons or institutions). Conducting joint research with local partners based on data from these installations is the most attractive way of collaboration.
